I live in Chennai, a coastal town that boasts the world’s second-largest beach, where it's impossible not to fall in love with the landscapes, the life, and the beauty it offers.
Living by the coast has taught me invaluable lessons—like staying calm in stormy situations and being a beacon of light, much like a lighthouse, in someone else’s life. The vast ocean serves as a metaphor for life’s challenges, reminding me that, no matter how overwhelming they seem, they are all part of a greater journey, just like a boat venturing out to new horizons. I find beauty in the discarded and overlooked. Using driftwood collected from the local beaches of Chennai, I create coastal
landscapes infused with a touch of French and European style.
I also incorporate discarded wood from construction sites and timbers. My emphasis on sustainable and natural materials aligns with the growing demand for eco-friendly products, appealing to a niche audience that values artistic expression and environmental consciousness in their home decor. My work celebrates the resilience and enduring beauty of nature, inviting viewers to see the potential in what is often cast aside, evoking emotion and imagination as they experience my art.
"I love stories, and my art is a visual story, a dialogue between nature and creativity. "
